Dinghy Classes Sailed

At Sutton-in-Ashfield Sailing Club, we sail a variety of both single-hander and double-hander dinghy classes, from the Laser Pico and Topper used for training and by juniors, to the high performance Supernova and National 12.

We run races under the RYA’s Portsmouth Yardstick scheme, either as a timed handicap race or a pursuit race (see Sailing Programme) and so can accommodate most dinghies no longer than 16′ in length.
